About this Project

The existing valve vault was demolished in place, backfilled to grade with engineered fill, and compacted to support the installation of the new Water Pressure Regulating Valve (PRV) station.

AMA excavated the upstream side of the existing water feed and installed a new section of ductile iron piping, along with 45 degree fittings to bring the piping above grade.

Additionally, AMA provided a new concrete slab, 8-ft security fencing with barbed wire and sliding gate, protective bollards and a new 12-ft PRV station with 8-inch and 4-inch bypass lines. The new above-ground assembly was constructed entirely of ductile iron piping and fittings.
